Marble Cake Recipe
Ingredients
2 cups cake flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup castor sugar
½ cup milk
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1½ tablespoons water
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
Chocolate Fudge
1½ cups condensed milk
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
3 tablespoons butter
Sift flour and baking powder together 2 times. Mix butter, sugar, milk, eggs and vanilla essence in the work bowl of a food processor, use metal blade, process for 5 seconds. Add flour and pulse 2-3 times. Scrape down the bowl if necessary. Blend well cocoa powder and water. Divide the batter into 2 portions. Mix one portion with cocoa mixture. Put the 2 portions of batter alternately into a mold. Use spatula, stir around deep into the batter once to make marble design. Microwave at High (600-700 Watts) for 7 minutes. Cool and pour the chocolate fudge on top. To make the fudge : melt butter in a big nonplastic bowl at High for ½ minutes. Stir cocoa powder and condensed milk. Microwave, uncovered, for 4½ minutes. Stir vigorously and pour over the cake while still hot.
