1/4kg whole red chilies
1 glass split black gram
1 glass split red gram
¾ glass cumin seeds
½ glass split bengal gram
2 tbsp coriander seeds
2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp fenugreek seeds
2 tsp mustards seeds
2 tsp asafetida
2 tsp peppercorns
1 bunch curry leaves

Roast all ingredients separately.

Powder the chilies and rest of the ingredients separately using blender.

Mix all powders and add little salt as needed.

Store in air tight containers. See sambar to make sambar
