Method :
Sieve the wheat flower and knead to a soft dough by adding enough water. Keep aside. Soak split green gram for one hour. Wash and drain the water completely. Cook the split green gram in 1 cup of water. Heat oil in a pan, add the cumin seeds and asafetida. Fry till they pop. Add the cooked gram, salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and mix well. Cook until the split green gram mixture is dry. Let it cool. Take some porting of dough and make a small puri. Place the split green gram stuffing in the center. Close it and rool again into a thick, round parata. Heat a griddle, put the daal paratha and cook sides by adding oil
